Playing our part in
racing history

As part of Cubiq’s continuing work with Great British Racing, we have created promotional material for an ITV documentary about the first British Muslim woman to ride and win at a prestigious racing festival.

Riding a Dream features the story of 18 year old Khadijah Mellah from Peckham, who was victorious in all female charity race the Magnolia Cup at Goodwood in August. Just four months after sitting on a racehorse for the first time and training while fasting for Ramadan and taking her A-Levels, Khadijah fended off eleven other riders including Olympian Victoria Pendleton and model Vogue Williams to secure her place in racing history.

Cubiq’s role in promoting the documentary has included the creation of the following ahead of the premiere screening in London:

  • invitations, including those for VIPs
  • illustrated imagery
  • social media cards
  • press packs
  • posters
  • additional printed collateral
  • cinema holding screen image

Cubiq has been working with Great British Racing, the sport’s official marketing and promotional body, for more than four years. Typically we are tasked with helping to showcase a variety of big races or victories via explainer animations, infographic pieces, social engagement, promotional imagery and media guides.
