The Cubiq PR team secured regional broadcast, print and digital coverage for Discover Newmarket tour guide Larry Bowden who made the shortlist for VisitEngland’s Tourism Superstar 2019 Award.

Larry is one of only 10 guides across the country to be recognised for his dedication and passion, going above and beyond to ensure visitors to The National Stud have an unforgettable experience.

Focusing on Larry being the only tour guide in East Anglia to have been shortlisted for the award from hundreds of nominations, Cubiq set up filming with BBC Look East and Larry was featured in the evening programme.

Larry was also interviewed by ITV Anglia, BBC Radio Cambridge and BBC Radio Suffolk, and the story was covered by newspapers including the East Anglian Daily Times and Eastern Daily Press.

In total, more than two million people across East Anglia had the opportunity to see or hear about Larry’s achievement.
