PR & Marketing Account Executive or Manager

We are looking for a proactive, passionate and hard-working PR & Marketing Account Executive or Manager (role will depend on experience) to join our full-service integrated agency. The successful candidate will work as part of an award-winning team and will contribute to live projects on a local, regional, national and international level.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reporting into our PR & Marketing Account Director, we’re looking for someone with clear experience across the following:
  • Public Relations
  • Copywriting and proofreading
  • Digital Communications – social media
  • Communications strategy
  • End to end Account Management (agency or in-house)
  • Analysis, data, and reporting

We’d also like:

  • Excellent copywriting skills and experience of writing for brands
  • Strong creative mindset, ability to think outside of the box and see a story, idea or potential angle where there appears to be none
  • Experience in managing photo shoots and video filming
  • Content creation skills
  • Ease in adapting and understanding various industries is a must in this role as our clients are varied
  • Understand of both B2B and B2C communications strategies
  • Experience in or a desire to get involved with team management
  • An interest in proposal writing support alongside the PR & Marketing Account Director and management team

Qualifications and Skills:

The right candidate will have a genuine love for this field, a thirst to get started and showcase their skills, as well as develop new, engaging and result-focused strategies for clients. We’re looking for someone who is analytically focused and able to make data-driven recommendations, but also someone who isn’t afraid to think outside of the box.

Essential:

  • Be educated to degree level with a relevant qualification in marketing, or similar subject
  • 2 – 3 years’ broad experience in a communication, public relations or advertising role
  • Experience of liaising with the media, pitching stories, writing press releases, utilising databases and delivering PR campaigns
  • Experience in running social media channels and communities on behalf of clients, and an understanding of the management tools associated with running multiple accounts
  • Able to work independently, using initiative, as well as part of a busy team
  • A self-starter who can put forward and initiate their ideas
  • A team player who is happy to get stuck in and help the rest of the team
  • Ability to work to deadlines and cope positively with time pressure across ongoing and project work
  • Previous client facing experience and account management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing multiple clients at once, with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Full UK drivers license
